Virtually social..

Thanks to Blackberry and Facebook & the likes.. we are so 'active' socially, but all of it is on the virtual world.

We have more than 500 'friends' thanks to facebook.. and we get pinged virtually every minute by someone or the other on BBM.

Anybody who does not own a BB or does not have a profile on fb is seen as an outcast. (Dude.. you don't exist!!! You don't )

No wonder, spouses, friends, siblings have lost the art of conversing; as even if they are sitting in a room, they communicate via BBM!

And than... we wonder.. how did people live 2 years back without BBM!

Well.. they lived.. and they lived well!

They had friends who they met in 'real life'. They hugged.. they punched.. they fought.. they played football (or cricket or whatever) in the park or in the street parking lot. And farming in the villages was real too (haha.. farming through mouse-clicks.. that's a joke..!)

I would rather have 'real friends' enough to count on my fingers.. than 500 'virtual friends' on fb. I would rather sweat it out and lose a game of soccer on the grass.. rather than lift the World Cup on some stupid game.

Come on guys.. get real.. go get a life. A REAL LIFE...
